Primary Attachments, often called simply Attachments, are modifiers that can be "attached" to your primary weapon. Using an attachment does not change the visual appearance in a big way, although some are visible. Attachments are specific to single types of weapons, and each weapon type has its own set. Only one attachment is allowed on a primary weapon at any time, with no modifier allowed on the secondary weapon. Most of these modifiers change a gun's characteristics slightly, in a similar way that high-quality bonuses do, and can stack with them. In turn, Attachments can vary in quality too, however, that never grants more bonuses (or penalties), and only gives a higher chance of attachments' positive effects being stronger (or weaker) and negative effects being weaker (or stronger). Attachments commonly give extra clip size, reduce recoil, or give a 10% chance of setting the target on fire.

Statistics[]

Please note that only base values of attachments' effects are listed. High level attachments, especially in case of Refined or better qualities, can have better stats than ones listed; similar can be said about low level and quality attachments. For example, a level 50 Flawless Loudener can give +24% damage and -8% range, even though its base effects are between 10-20% damage increase and 10-20% range decrease.
Due to that, you can take this table as a list of approximate stats.

Tips & Trivia[]

  • Many Challenges and certain game modes modify your weapons set, giving you another weapon. However, your attachments will still work, even if they are normally not compatible with given weapons!
  • There are no attachments made for Special weapons (Dooty Launcher and Sheep Cannon), and if you choose one of these weapons, you won't be able to choose any attachment.
  • Attachments can stack with random weapons' bonuses, skills' effects, killstreaks' effects and pretty much everything. A random accuracy bonus and a Red Dot can remove the "melee range only" seal from Minigun, and Deflection Plate together with Juggernaut's most damage-reducing killstreaks helps to overcome great damage.
  • Hearbeat Sensor is especially useful on Sniper, because it can help you spotting backstab attempts when you forget to check if there's anyone behind you, or when anyone spawns right behind you and you're too busy shooting enemies.
  • A long-range SMG can inflict status effects from safe distance, allowing you to burn the enemy and then run away and look at him burning.
  • And more. Improvise and experiment.

References[]

  1. Applies the zap effect instead of freeze due to developer's oversight.
  2. Applies the freeze effect instead of zap due to developer's oversight.
  3. This attachment was supposed to be available for Shotguns as well, and have exactly same stats. But it isn't, all because of an oversight — while copy-pasting stats of SMG's Corrosive Rounds, developers forgot to change the number that determines what type of weapon this attachment can be attached to. As a result, there's now two indentical types of corrosive rounds available for SMGs.
  4. For those who thought it can reflect projectiles like Katana: no, it can't. It only shields from some damage.
